Email to Ex-boss after Long Time asking for Job Opportunity

You have to cordially approach your previous boss, and express your interest to him in getting a new job either by rejoining the same company or by joining some other company through his reference and recommendation.

You can write an email, or a letter, or speak to your ex-boss over the phone for the new job. In your letter or email, you should highlight the skills you have developed so far, and mention which kind of job you are interested in.

If you can clearly justify yourself as to how you would be a valuable asset to the previous employer, then there is a good possibility that they will call you back for an interview, and maybe you will get the job.
