A recommendation letter (also known as a reference letter) is written for the purpose of recommending a person for a new job position, or any other roles the person may have applied for.
A chartered accountant may require a recommendation letter to get a CA job or any other important finance job. Hence, he may request his previous employer to get such a recommendation letter.
Here is an example of such a recommendation letter for a chartered accountant. Please modify it appropriately as suited for you.
