Sample Apology Letter for Apparent Unintentional Plagiarism

Plagiarism, in simple words, is the act of copying someone's original work (contents/ ideas) and showing it as your own.

It is not only an immoral act but also a criminal offence under the law. Hence, the original author may file a lawsuit against you for the plagiarism and violation of his intellectual property rights.

If you have plagiarized someone's work, then before he goes to court you should apologize to him and show proof that you have undone your action either by deleting the contents or by stopping the publication.
