The full form of CIBIL is Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited. CIBIL is a prominent credit rating agency in India. The report provided by Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited is called CIBIL report. A CIBIL report indicates a person's creditworthiness.
The CIBIL Company automatically generates the CIBIL Score and the Credit Information Report (CIR) of a person using past financial records available in their system, which were tracked through PAN card number of a person and some other sources. CIBIL score is a 3-digit number, usually ranging from 300 to 900. The higher the score the better it is.
The CIBIL score and CIR are most often used by various financial institutions to evaluate loan or credit card applications before approving or rejecting it.
In order to get your CIBIL score and the CIR, you can visit CIBIL's official website to place an order online. Some banks are also providing online and offline options for placing an order for CIBIL report through them.
