Sample Letter to Police for Lost Stolen Missing Purse Wallet

It is important to lodge a complaint with the local police station for the missing or lost or stolen purse, if it has any important contents viz. debit card, credit card, pan card, driver’s license, aadhar card, voter id card, or any other important documents.

If you lose your wallet and are unable to find it after much effort, then you should call the bank to block the debit/credit card immediately to avoid any misuse of them. The FIR copy may be asked by some organization, while applying for the issue of duplicate documents in lieu of the lost original documents.

Following is a sample of writing a letter to the police station regarding a missing, lost or stolen wallet.
