Authorization Letter Format to Apply for DSC for Organisation

This is a format of authorization letter by an organization in favor of one of its employees authorizing him/her to apply for a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) in the name of the organization. The authorization may also be given in favor of more than one employee or associate.

Without a proper authorization, if anyone applies for a Digital Signature in the name of an organization, it would be illegal. The organization may take legal action against that person, whether he has misused the digital signature or not.

An organization follows a hierarchy of decision-making authority or powers well distributed among its employees to make a clear distinction on who is to do what and what rights they have to authorize the subordinate officer to complete a work. Hence, an officer, who has such authority, should only issue such authorization letters.
